Lowcut Magazine, January 2005: "Ned Hayden is an asshole, offensive, aggressive, violent, drunk, according to lots of people who have met him. He's also the lead singer, songwriter and extremely loud focal point in The Action Swingers. This album is from 1999, but sounds as though it was recorded on the bad side of a long depressing nuclear winter, by lunatic terrorist punkrockers on an amphetamine-ridden 4-week bender. Its simply SO in your face. Or up your ass, with no other pretensions than to ROCK your ass off. If you know other Action Swingers-albums, like Decimation Blvd, or the EP More Fast Numbers (which contained the infamous underground mini-hit, Courtney Love) you'd know what to expect: loud, fast aggression like nobody else can deliver it. One-two-three four: you're dead already!"

Recorded, like it says, at Toe Rag Studio, in November 93, this was initially released on vinyl by Reptilian and later on CD by Cheap Date. In amongst different versions of previous recordings are covers of Black Flag's 'Fix Me' and Subway Sect's 'Nobody's Scared'. |
