Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: 'Misirlou' [sic] from the Living In Darkness, an extended 'Pipeline' and the brilliant 'Mr. Moto' comprise the instrumental selections on this EP. The one track with vocals, 'Breakdown' (which features a splendid a capella middle eight) is superb. A great record, no mistake.

TIM YOHANNAN, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL #2, SEPTEMBER 1982: Mostly stuff you could find on other 45's or compilations, but nice to have with the 12" sound quality. Title track [Breakdown] is the only cut with vocals and is more contemporary; other three cuts are Surf City Specials.
