MARK PRINDLE: I like this band. There are definitely some 'misses' on this record, but when they're on, they're way on - and they're on quite often. You have to have a sense of humor to love this sort of thing (obviously), but much of the music can be enjoyed on its own merits, if you like these genres at all. The funk song is funky, the Southern rock song is full of Allman Brothers-style harmonized guitar riffin', the acid rock epic does rock epicly and acidically - it's just that the band is also "taking your piss". And "drinking it".
