Lo-fi noises and skeletal rhythms abound, pushing this release firmly into the avant-garde territory: 'Subtitles' has two vocal tracks, a French one in one speaker, English in the other. Fortunately they don't take themselves too seriously and liven things up with the wonderful 'Atomic X', which resembles The Sick Things, and an equally great stab at kitsch pop ('Lost In Space'). 'Bored Housewifes' [sic] later ended up on the girls-only compilation album, Making Waves.
