PUNKY GIBBON: Two censored tracks for the price of one! 'Woman' removes all the swearing and loses all of its impact. 'Rocker' began life as a filthy ode entitled 'Noddy', about Noddy's sexual adventures in Toyland. 'Rocker' is much less offensive, but still a great song.
DAVE RIMMER, SMASH HITS, JULY 1982: Nothing mellow about these boys. This starts out as a medium-paced declaration of love, then speeds up into a breakneck moan about marriage and a woman who - you've guessed - nags all the time. They've already told us how they hate people, but it seems they especially hate women. Probably because they're too obnoxious to attract any. Awful.
