The Art Attacks ran (on and off) from April 77 to March 78. The most regular personnel were Edwin, Steve, M.S. and J.D. Haney (now drumming for the Monochrome Set).
The First: Rat City was recorded at Pathway Studios 18/5/77
We had done one gig at that time (Wimbledon Art Coll).
Written by Steve + Edwin. Vocals Edwin, Guitar Steve, Bass M.S, Drums Rob Gotobed (now in Wire). This tracks sound amateurish; that's what Punk was about.
The Last: Punk Rock Stars recorded at Pathway 1.3.78. The group had just broken up. Vocals Edwin, Guitar Steve, Bass M.S, Drums Ricky Slaughter - drums (of The Motors). All sung backing vocals. This track is GREAT, that's why it's not.
It was fun, but now it's history - enjoy it!
