CLIFF WHITE, SMASH HITS, FEBRUARY 8 - 21, 1979: Surely you've heard it and brought it by now? Brilliantly demonstrating why Smash Hits has dropped all the nonsense of segregating music into different categories, a "rock" group has made will undoubtedly be one of the best, ahem, "disco" records of 1979. The Leggy Blonde One turns in her usual Sweet Little Sixteen vocal, the arrangement and production are a treat for the feet, the group is cooking on regulo 9 and the song is not just throwaway junk. I bet Donna Summer wishes she'd been offered this one...
