Reviews & Opinions

PAT GILBERT, RECORD COLLECTOR, 1990: Despite the smart yellow artwork, this 14-track reissue of the 'Cocks' late 70s radio sessions still doesn't quite cut the mustard, as the United Artists recordings of songs like 'Fast Cars' and 'Promises' and 'Everybody's Happy Nowadays' ave the edge. Not a duff track here, though.

Additional Notes

The US CD and German bootleg LP are actually titled The Peel Sessions. The French CD is called The Peel Sessions 1977-1979 on the cover, and The Peel Sessions everywhere else.
