Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: Nice collectors' item compiling a handful of tracks not previously issued in America (such as 'Cheat' from the debut album and blistering B-Sides 'Pressure Drop' and 'The Prisoner') and new stuff not released anywhere. It is of chief interest for the unreleased material: an extended Mikey Dread-produced version of 'Bankrobber' (identical to the 7" version for the first 4:20, then goes into a dub) and a very different mix of 'Justice Tonight / Kick It Over', neither of which have ever been reissued anywhere else (as far as I can tell). Another then-exclusive track was a nice but inessential instrumental ('Time Is Tight'). See also Super Black Market Clash, the supposed CD reissue.
