Reviews & Opinions

PUNK LIVES #2, 1982: Comes from the same honest, anarchist part of "punk" as The System. Out of all these Anarchist bands they verge the most into "oi" territory ("Conflict Barmy Army" get a mention on the sleeve for example). Their excellence and experimentation however, shows just how stilted, reactionary and 'beer boy' the "oi" bands really are. The first track, called simply 'Conflict', burn along with the confident power that you can only get by playing live over an extended period.
