JEL, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL #14, JUNE 1984: Contrary to the claims of a crooked East Coast distributor, this is not an "official" DEAD KENNEDYS studio album. It is a bootleg, recorded live off a radio broadcast in Munich, Germany in December 1982. The copies with the white cover have better sound quality than the copies with the blue cover. Either way, buy at your own risk.

Additional Notes

'Keep On Factory' is actually 'Kepone Factory'. This is either a bootleg or a semi-legal release. According to Flex Hardcore: "The first pressing of this LP was actually a semi-legal release with Jello’s consent; the band even received royalties from the sold copies. The blue cover reissue (done by another German label) is very much a bootleg, though, and led to the band’s decision not to tolerate projects like this again."

This was later issued as genuine bootlegs: Forward To Death, Dead Kennedys, Bleed For You. It was finally granted a fully legit release as part of the DK 40 set.
