Reviews & Opinions

STEVE SPINALI, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL #36, MAY 1986: I can't claim to be impartial about this band, but predominately raw live tracks are mixed in with a few early demos on this one. New versions of all of your fave DICKIES songs will make fans delirious with joy, though this tape is not the ideal introduction to this great band.

JON YOUNG/IRA ROBBINS, THE NEW MUSIC RECORD & TAPE GUIDE, 1987: More oddities and endities can be found on We Aren't the World!, 21 doses of live Dickiedom recorded between 1978 and 1985, plus the raw four-song demo from '77 that, according to Lisa Fancher's belligerent liner notes, got them signed to A&M. Although the recording quality is as varied as the locales, this is a potent dose for fans of chaotic smartassitude.

Additional Notes

Reissued as Still Got Live, Even If You Don't Want It.
