Reviews & Opinions
TIM YOHANNAN, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL #24, APRIL 1985: Another hot-sounding release from the EXPLOITED (most all their records have gotten good reviews in MRR -- can't say the same about Wattle's mentality), with both thrash and slightly post-punk rhythmic tracks really ripping. Oh, and thanks, EXPLOITED, for the "fuck off" on the back cover; coming from you, it's a real compliment.Additional Notes
The LP dedication "Fuck Off to - Marcus "Rip Off" Featherbrain - Max Rock & Roll for the lies they tell - Pushead or was it Shithead" refers to the former head guy at Pax Records (Marcus Featherby), the US fanzine edited by Tim Yo (see review above), and the MRR scribe/artist Pushead (Lamort Schroeder), who designed the band's skull logo and did some album art for The Exploited as well.
