Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: Superb poppy protest punk with a Pistols-meets-Boomtown Rats kind of feel (not surprising as two Pistols are present). One of three high profile songs about Liddle Towers released in 78 and 79 (others by Angelic Upstarts and TRB), and probably the best. The B-Side, alas, is a boring acoustic instrumental.

Additional Notes

Main track is entitled 'Justifiable Homicide?' on label (no question mark on sleeve). Rumour has it that some sleeves state the presence of Messers Cook and Jones. I have never seen one, and suspect it doesn't exist.
