The Lurkers - Lineups 1976-1984

Lineup 1 (May 1976):

Vocals - Pete (Plug) Edwards
Guitar - Pete Stride
Bass - Nigel Moore
Drums - Pete (Manic Esso) Haynes

This short-lived lineup recorded nothing. Plug became the group's roadie instead, while Nigel Moore left to join Swank.

Lineup 2 (May 1976-November 1977):

The Lurkers - 1977

Left to Right:
Bass - Arturo Bassick (rn Arthur Billingsley)
Vocals - Howard Wall
Drums - Pete (Manic Esso) Haynes
Guitar - Pete Stride

Recorded Free Admission Single and Freak Show. In December Arturo left to form Pinpoint (1978-1981) and then The Blubbery Hellbellies (c.1984-1988).

Lineup 3 (November 1977-Early 1978):

Bass - Kym Bradshaw
Guitar - Pete Stride
Drums - Pete (Manic Esso) Haynes
Vocals - Howard Wall

Kym Bradshaw was ex-The Saints. This lineup recorded nothing. The guy on the right is Plug.

Lineup 4 (Early 1978-November 1979):

The Lurkers - 1979

Left to Right:
Drums - Pete (Manic Esso) Haynes
Bass - Nigel Moore
Vocals - Howard Wall
Guitar - Pete Stride

The classic lineup, responsible for: Ain't Got A Clue, Fulham Fallout, I Don't Need To Tell Her, Just Thirteen, Out In The Dark and God's Lonely Men.

Lineup 5 (November 1979 - Early 1980):

Left to Right:
Vocals - Howard Wall (foreground)
Bass - Nigel Moore
Guitar - Honest John Plain
Guitar - Pete Stride
Drums - Pete (Manic Esso) Haynes

Honest John Plain was ex-The Boys. The only recording this lineup made was New Guitar In Town.

Lineup 6 (Spring 1982-1984):

Left to Right:
Vocals - Marc Fincham
Bass - Nigel Moore
Guitar - Pete Stride
Drums - Pete (Manic Esso) Haynes

Recorded: This Dirty Town, Drag You Out, Frankenstein Again, Let's Dance Now (No Time To Be Strangers) and The Final Vinyl.
