Formed: England, UK

Shitty novelty band, notable only for getting their joke pretty early in. Unfortunately, as Iggy might say, you'll be looking for the joke with a microscope. Side two is an instrumental the shows the musicians to be seasoned pros. The lead vocalist (Norman, presumably) sounds a bit like Dave Tice from The (Count) Bishops, but it isn't him.

Here's the lyrics, if you care:

I'm a punk I'm a punk and I don't give a damn
I'm a punk I'm a punk and I know what what I am
I'm a punk I'm a punk so don't you get in my way
Cos I'm a punk
I'm a punk
And I'm here to stay

You're too old, you're too slow
So move over, it's my go
You've got it but I want it
You've had it, it's my throw

I can't play, I can't sing
Ha, but mister, I'm happening
And I'm useless, and I'm dirty
But at least I ain't thirty

Cos I'm a punk
Yes I'm a punk

You can't analyse us
Socialise us
And even intellectualise us
But we know and we don't care
But what you mean is you despise us
