Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: Wild About You 1976-1978 rounds up every single track they recorded for Harvest and bungs in a handful of unreleased ones as well. 'Untitled' was recorded for the first album but left off it, there's two out-takes from the second album ('Champagne Misery', 'The Ballad' [different versions of songs on the second and third LPs]) and a gorgeous ballad ('Looking For The Sub') intended for but omitted from 'Prehistoric Sounds'. With detailed liner notes and lots of nice photos, this double CD is essential. (Or at least it was until every one of these songs - and more - was subseuqently issued as All Times Through Paradise.
