Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: Quintessential Sham. 'If The Kids Are United' is an overly earnest and hopelessly naive call for solidarity amongst kids. And of course many kids bought it and sang it. Slightly slower than previous singles, but the scorching raw guitar and multi-tracked chorus make this the ultimate Sham anthem. The hilarious B-Side takes itself far less seriously, pounds furiously and is one of Sham's catchiest tunes. It subsequently became a key track on their second LP, That's Life.
