Reviews & Opinions

DEANNE PEARSON, SMASH HITS, MAY 29TH 1980: Jake Burns doesn't give the voice much of a chance does he? Rasping, grasping vocals spurt fourth relentlessly, bobbing and fighting like a drowning man in a flood of ramalama instrumentation. This record doesn't stand a fighting chance.

Additional Notes

Later pressings came with silver labels bearing the legend "Made In France". These were presumably pressed to meet sales demands in the UK. There was also a promo version of this single, which had a 3:12 edit of 'Nobody's Hero' which, to my knowledge, has never been made available anywhere else.
