Reviews & Opinions
PUNKY GIBBON: These guys sound like a cross between Minor Threat and early Government Issue on their sole EP, which crams eight songs into as many minutes. But although they ain’t Government Issue or Minor Threat, their songs are very fast, very short, and very, very good (they actually have hooks), with super production and suitably belligerent ejaculated vocals. One of the best NYHC records ever.
TIM YOHANNAN, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL, 1983: Pretty intense power thrash. Some songs have those slow Metal intros with Handsome Dick Manitoba growls, and then launch into straight-ahead crunching stuff. It's nothing original, but it hits hard, especially 'Nuclear Threat, which is a killer.
