Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: I don't know what the fuck this is meant to be. It claims to be a best of but the first eight songs sounds like re-recordings, and are probably the same ones that appeared on Punk Can Take It (Rare And Unreleased 78-82) and Self Destruct - Punk Can Take It II. Tracks 9-13 are, I dunno, demos or something. Then there's three songs from Shake Up The City (tracks 14-16) and a couple from the 1988 LP Killing Time (17-18). Tracks 19-26 are from the mid-to-late 1990's. Track 27, 'Stay Away', is from Smells Like Bleach - A Punk Tribute To Nirvana, which came out in 2000. This below-par compialtion was reissued as Punk Essentials.
