CHRIS HALL, SMASH HITS, DECEMBER 1978: ...Quite a departure from the group's previous 45s. This one may not get too much Radio 1 airplay since it mentions products by name, so you may need to go out of your way to check this out.
RICHARD KILBY [thanks]: The 7" version of 'Germ Free Adolescents' is actually a slightly different version to that on the LP, in that when Poly starts singing the second verse a synthesiser/keyboard is introduced in the background and until the track ends and as far as i know this single version has never been released on CD and is only available on an original vinyl pressing of the 7" - it is a far better version with this synth added !!!! - compare them if you have the 7" & LP!"
Additional Notes
The label calls this single 'Germ Free Adolescence', the front cover calls it both 'Germ-Free Adolescents' and 'Germ Free Adolescents'. A-side, need it be said, is from Germfree Adolescents, but this is a different mix.
