Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: A beefed-up version of the US only 10" LP from 1980, Black Market Clash, this is a half-arsed attempt to round up stray B-Sides etc, but still several are still missing: 'London Burning' live, 'Rockers Galore-UK Tour', 'Radio One', the 7" edit of 'Straight To Hell'. You don't even get the 7:00 minute version of 'Armagideon Time' from BMC. So what is there unique? 'Listen' - a nice but unexciting instrumental from 1977, appears in unedited form; a version of 'Long Time Jerk' that fades out two minutes early; and a different dub version of 'Bankrobber'.
