Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: The A-Side is a classic, from the double-tracked drum intro to the 'Complete Control' style ranting ending, the crisp Sandy Pearlman production making the band seem harder and punchier than ever. '1-2 Crush On You' (listed on label as '1-2, Crush On You') is a Mick Jones number from his days in The Delinquents, and despite being one of their weaker efforts (it's a juvenile love song) is still rollicking fun, and has a less produced feel making it seem almost like an outtake from the first LP.
