Reviews & Opinions
PUNKY GIBBON: Another classic. 'Heads Down' rips the piss out of the mindlessness of Status Quo (while inserting a loud "BOOOGIE" that seems to reference Go 'Buddy Go'): 'Ain't got no time for intellectual music/E.g. Hergest Ridge". 'Thank You' is a very funny punk piss-take with great snotty vocals, repeated with much stronger language on disc two's 'Fuck You'. The spoken word 'Dead Meat (Part 2)' is a mildly amusing dig at Whispering Bob Harris ending with a rude joke. Brill.Additional Notes
The UK double single is sometimes referred to (erroneously) as the 'Dead Meat EP'. The track on side D is referred to in the gatefold sleeve as Dead Meat (Part 2), but on the UK label as Dead Meat Pt. II. TRhe C & D sides were also issued as a standalone single, Fuck You.
