MICK MERCER, PUNK LIVES #3, 1982: Inspiration was clearing [sic] having a day off when they wrote these tewns. The spoken intro hails from somewhere and goes into the sound of someone puking into the toilet and is considerably more interesting than the song itself, which goes for the all-corners guitar speed record. Singer Rancid (!) has strange voice, appearing to sing blurrghh, blurrrgghhhhh, arrrrrgggghhh, yaaaaa! for most of the time. It has to be some kind of parody. Another Riot City reject.
JEFF BALE, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL #2, SEPTEMBER 1982: CHAOTIC D. have fortunately stepped into the vacuum created by the demise of DISORDER, thereby showing that the English are capable of producing first-class thrash punk if they decide to. All these tracks are monstrously raw, and "Sold Out to the G.P.O" may even be too fast.
