PUNKY GIBBON: The songs here are straight-forward, more poppy than punky, with attention grabbing titles ('British Colonialism & The BBC', 'Coca-Colonisation', 'How To Get Your Band On Television') and extremely intelligent lyrics addressing political issues with a sense of humour ("David Bowie – The Price is Right/With a suitful of compassion and a gobful of shite.") It's very pleased with itself, though, and the overriding sense of smugness make it a chore. I hate this fucking record.Additional Notes
