Moss was at the time a member of London. He later joined The Edge and Culture Club.

Interim Linups (September - December 1978)

In September 1978 Vanian, Scabies, Sensible played a gig as Les Punks with Lemmy (from Motorhead) on bass. Bouyed by the reaction, they decided to reform The Damned, but were required to play as The Doomed because James refused to relinquish the name. Henry Badowski played with The Doomed before they settled on a new member and a change of name back to the Damned.

Lineup #5 (January 1979 - February 1980)

The band's "Goth" period lineup. Recorded: Phantasmagoria (1985) and Anything (1986). This lineup also recorded: Give Daddy The Knife Cindy as Naz Nomad & The Nightmares. Steve McGuire was also a temporary keyboardist during this period.
