According to the Punk Rock Rarities Vol. 1 CD, as a publicity stunt Embryo kidnapped that utterly objectionable DJ Mike Reed, who played the song several times. It didn't help it sell many copies, though, and in mid-1981 they changed their name to Jump Squad, and later became The Untouchables and Under The Gun. A lot of name changes, but no success. Three quarters of the band eventually became Guitar Gangsters.
