JEFF BALE, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL, JULY 1982: Disappointing. The sound is certainly heavy enough but it's too slow to keep up with their first thrash EP. Thematically sound but musically average, and I could do without another version of the HEARTBREAKERS' "Chinese Rocks".
