Band Bio / Lineups / Discography

Yes, they took their name from a song by Peter & The Test Tube Babies and were one of the many bands who got exposure on A Country Fit For Heroes Volume 2. Their songs 'Fight + Die' and 'Ghost Town' addressed standard punk topics (the army, unemployment) in the standard punk format, but were speedy and catchy enough to be entertaining, and singer Iain Kilgallon's vocals were usually clear and upfront.

Their debut single Cowards came out on their own label, Punishment Block, and presented a more melodic slant on the Oi! formula, somewhat akin to Major Accident. One of the tracks, 'Organised Crime', is over six minutes long!

Their second and final release was 1987's Rebels Rockets & Rubbermen 12", which featured a completely different lineup, with only singer Iain Kilgallon being in the previous recording lineups.

Iain, bassist Spike and drummer Bryza formed Beerzone in 1997.
