Reviews & Opinions
RECORD COLLECTOR, 1988: Eighteen of the Lurkers' finest moments are captured on this 'Lowdown' series reissue, with sound quality that is quite adequate, without ever being remarkable. 'I'm On Heat', the opening track, sets the agenda perfectly; the band assault a Spector classic on 'Then I Kicked Her', and show alarming signs of sophistication on 'New Guitar In Town'. 'Take Me Back To Babylon' is the only track that suffers from muddy sound, meanwhile.Additional Notes
The CD was reissued in 1998 (in a clear jewel case), with same catalogue number as original CD. I have no idea if this is remastered or not (I would say it probably isn't).
