Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: Generally considered the worst official Pistols single (this was issued by their French label): both songs are from The Great Rock N Roll Swindle, the sleeve is kind of boring, and the record features not one member of the band. Side One is McLaren's campy Max Bygrave's cover - xylophone, orchestra, no guitar, bass or drums. Side Two is the orchestral version of 'God Save The Queen'.

Additional Notes

The labels make it look like the record company is Sex Pistols and the recording artist is Malcolm McLaren, but it is a Barclay release.
