THE "B" GIRLS
Formed: Toronto, Canada
Discography / Lineups
An all-girl new wave group from Toronto, the 'B' Girls moved to New York in 1977 and released the bouncy surf-pop single Fun At The Beach, which clocks in at just under two minutes and sounds exactly like you would expect it to. They were miles poppier and much, much less militant than Toronto's other girlie punk combo The Curse. Think of them as a primordial version of the superior Go-Go's.
