Reviews & Opinions
CHAINSAW, JUNE 1978: Hmm. This is a reasonable album (about as good as the 999 album [999]) but from a group like Generation X who are supposed to be one of the best groups in the country, it's not good enough. As with the 999 it's got its good moments, but then there's a hell of a lot of crap on this. Well...highpoints of this are the opener 'From The Heart', 'Promises Promises' (but that goes on too long), and a new version of 'Day By Day'. 'Youth Youth Youth', one of their most popular songs, just goes on and on an on. I dunno what all the fuss was about. My rating: *****Additional Notes
