The sleeve credits "No thanks: Kay Carroll" refers to the woman who managed The Fall from 1977 to 1983 (and was also Mark E. Smith's "older lover"). Dave Bentley, who gets proper thanks, was the man behind Bent Records, a member of Paul Morley's art project The Negatives, and for a while, manager of The Drones.
