Reviews & Opinions

GENE OCTOBER, MELODY MAKER, 1982: Hey punks! Do you remember The Models and an excellent 45 called 'Freeze' and 'Man Of The Year'? Then, wow! We have just as good a 45 from the Undead: 'Dead Revolution' (the "dead side"). Bristol punks come up with yet another bloody good band. I'd like to see them.

JEFF BALE, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL, NOVEMBER 1982: Well-recorded English punk. The guitars are loud and the sound is heavy, but the material is just too typical to sustain interest. Ho-hum.

PUNKY GIBBON: A marked improvement on their debut 45, although mainly due to much better production and a faster pace rather than any major advance in songwriting skills. 'Dead Revolution' has some nice lead guitar runs and a catchy chorus, but the speedy 'This Place Is Burning' comes closer to generating excitement.
