TIM YOHANNAN, MAXIMUM ROCKNROLL #3, NOVEMBER 1982: Great compilation of upper midwestern bands (except Boston's F.U.'s). Some have previous releases - TOXIC REASONS, ZERO BOYS - but most are vinyl virgins (SLAMMIES, BATTERED YOUTH, DELINQUENTS, ARTICLES OF FAITH, REPELIANTS, LEARNED HELPLESSNESS, PATTERN, and DIE KREUZEN). More volumes are planned for the future. These regional collections of little known bands are extremely important, so give the ZERO BOYS credit for organizing this project.
