CHUCK WAGON
Based: Los Angeles, California, USA
Founding member of The Dickies, for whom he wrote songs and played sax and keyboards, Chuck's solo single is synth pop, a million miles away from the punk racket of his main group. In true Dickies fashion, though, it came on coloured vinyl (purple), but that didn't prevent it from being a spectacular flop. Chuck shot himself in 1981 after breaking up with his girlfriend.
