Reviews & Opinions

PUNKY GIBBON: A collection of Mortarhate (and related) EPs other than those recorded by Conflict. Lots of great music but a really annoying release: instead of splitting up the songs into individual tracks, they just split them into EPs instead, so track one is actually three songs, track two is four etc. (Crass did the same for their A-Sides (Part One. 1979/1982) and A-Sides (Part Two. 1982-1984) releases.) Also, the pressing is supposed to be awful on disc one, with tracks skipping like mad. I didn't bother buying this because of these reports.
