Geza X was a first rate punk producer who played with The Bags and The Deadbeats. Geza's backing group The Mommymen included scene luminaries Don Bonebrake (from X, on marimbas!) and Joe Delaney (ex-The Deadbeats) on saxophone. A savvily constructed piece of snotty art punk Dada, You Goddam Kids! is recommended for fans of Zappa, Beefheart, The Residents, Devo and The Cravats but contains enough mid-1977 L.A. fire to also appeal to fans of the Weirdos et al. 'The Paranoids Are Coming', 'I Hate Punks', 'Isotope Soap' and 'Hungarian' are utterly exceptional, in turns jaw-dropping, insanely catchy, unpredictable, scary - and always hilarious.
Outside of making his own music, his production endeavours include The Germs' Lexicon Devil, Dead Kennedys' Holiday in Cambodia and Black Flag's Six Pack, and many others.
